On Sunday, January 12, Rachel Cottone, friend of UU Wellesley and Information Security professional, will offer a one-hour program in the Chapel. Join this in-person session to get a better understanding of cybersecurity for yourself and the UU community.
About the Host: Rachel Cottone is not only a friend of UU Wellesley but also a certified cybersecurity program manager who has held leadership roles in Technology and InfoSec for 30 years. She holds a number of credentials, including the CISSP and CISM as well as an Insider Threat certification from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Harvard Extension. Rachel is a recognized leader in financial services and pharma, working most recently at Takeda, where she managed a security operations team, stood up a new Insider Threat program, and oversaw significant reduction in data loss across the company. Rachel is now an active consultant and the owner of Cottone Group LLC, a new information security advisory firm. Rachel is passionate about making information security understandable and accessible to everyone–not just corporations.
