An important principle for all Unitarian Universalists is the “free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” Because we have no creed to promulgate, every elder, adult, youth, and child is equipped and encouraged to make meaning of their own circumstances and personal experiences. Our full range of learning programs complement lessons we take from other aspects of congregational life, including those found in our worship services, social actions, and community activities.
UU Wellesley offers lifelong learning opportunities to people at every age and encourages curiosity about life’s biggest questions. Ongoing religious education and spiritual development serves us all by deepening our understanding of our worldview and fostering confidence in our ethical commitments. We discuss, we read, we view, we investigate, we gain hands-on experience, we clarify our values, and we bring the valuable lessons that we’ve learned into the wider world.
