In November, UU Wellesley Hills’ plate collections raised funds to support organizations that work for Climate Justice. We sent:
$440 to UU Mass Action
$658 to the UU Service Committee’s Emergency Response Fund
$564 to the Woodwell Climate Research Center
$740 to the Native American Rights Fund
In December, our plate collections addressed Housing and Poverty. We raised:
$872 for UU Mass Action
$952 for Hearth, Inc.
$609 for Family Promise Metrowest
$947 to support our Bristol Lodge cooking initiative
Our Christmas Eve plate collection raised $1,235 for the Boston Immigration Justice Accompaniment Network and their work to address the current housing crisis for migrants who have recently arrived in Massachusetts.
