Visitors are always welcome to participate in UU Wellesley Hills’ worship services, learning programs, social action events, and community gatherings. There is, however, a special covenantal relationship that forms when someone commits to congregational life and becomes a member here. We recognize and celebrate new members during Membership Sundays, which happen throughout the year. New members are then able to vote on decisions and help determine the course of our future.
Anyone considering membership is encouraged to discuss their interest with our Senior Minister, Rev. Mark Robel, who will schedule a time to meet for a deeper conversation on what it means to become a member. Formally joining UU Wellesley Hills entails signing a membership book we have kept since our incorporation in 1871. Members generally feel that they are most richly rewarded when they contribute their time, talent, and treasure to the life of this congregation, as their life circumstances allow.
