SUNDAY WORSHIP 10:30AM ONLINE & IN-PERSON

Volunteer Opportunities

UU Wellesley Hills has an outsize presence in the wider community due to the energy and commitment of volunteers. Our neighbors know us for monthly vigils, our enormous rummage sale, a concert series, and the annual Messiah sing. But these are just the most visible aspects of our congregation’s work. Sunday mornings draw on the efforts of an enthusiastic choir, lay worship associates, greeters, and fellowship hour hosts. We have many committees including congregation members who monitor our facilities, offer helping hands and hearts during challenging times, and serve on our Board of Trustees. Volunteers are the lifeblood of who we are.

People come to UU Wellesley Hills for any number of reasons, but a through-line is the pursuit of “spiritual growth.” Volunteering provides the satisfaction of helping to make a difference, whether inside or outside the congregation. It also offers members the opportunity to try new roles, discover and cultivate gifts, and develop connections with like-minded friends over shared interests. Everyone can find a niche … or many of them.
